New developments in the field of pelleting formulations allow now the use of SATEC CONCEPT® batch-coating machines to produce pelleted seed.
The required batch time for pelleting of different types of seed can be reduced to about 5 %. The big savings in labor and considerable reduced investment costs show pelleted seed in a completely new light.
For pelleting of sugar beet, the expected reduction of costs will be the most attractive benefit of this new process. For pelleting of vegetable seed a big saving in time and the possibility of decentralized production are the main advantages when using SATEC CONCEPT® machines.
Adaptations within the software and some technical changes turn the tried and tested seed coating machines into automatic pelleting machines.
